📱 How to use the app
We're happy to help you master Czech cases. It's easier than it looks! 🙂
🎯 Step 1: Declension quiz
On the main screen you'll see:
- A word at the top (e.g., "pán" - gentleman)
- A set of cards with word forms
- A table with 7 cases (Nominativ, Genitiv, etc.)
What to do:
- Pick up a card with a word form (tap and hold with your finger)
- Drag it to the correct cell in the table
- Release your finger - the card will snap into place
- Fill all 14 cells (7 cases × 2 numbers)
- Tap the "Check" button ✓
💡 Tip
- Left column - singular
- Right column - plural
- Next to each case name you'll see questions (kdo? co? etc.)
📚 Step 2: Handbook
Open the menu (☰ top left) → "Handbook"
Here you'll find:
- All declension patterns
- Example words for each type
- Complete declension tables
This is your cheat sheet! Use it when in doubt.
❌ Step 3: Words with errors
The app remembers which words you got wrong!
Open menu → "Words with errors"
- See the list of difficult words
- Practice them again
- Reinforce your learning
⚙️ Step 4: Settings
Open menu → "Settings"
You can:
- Choose noun gender (only masculine, feminine, etc.)
- Turn off animation (if it's distracting)

- Start with simple words (animate masculine)
- Don't rush - better slow but correct
- Use the handbook - it's not cheating, it's learning!
- Review words with errors - that's how you'll remember faster
- Practice a little every day - 10 minutes is enough
